Friday 24th May, 7pm - FOLK FILMS - We partnered with Mandy Apple for an artist short film screening inspired by their exhibition 'Bealtaine' followed by a discussion with SFF curator Martha Cattell and Bealtaine curators Nathan and Cat. The two films were 'Hexham Heads' by Chloe Delanghe and Mattijs Driesen and 'The Flaming Rage of the Sea' by Rosanna Greaves
Friday 11th August, 2023, 7pm - TISH - moving portrait of social documentary photographer and trailblazer Tish Murtha, who dedicated her life to documenting the lives of working-class communities in North East England.
Friday 7th July 2023, 7pm - Are You Proud + Q & A - Doc with rare archive footage to celebrate the achievements and highlight ongoing struggles of the LGBTQ+ community through the lens of the PRIDE movement. Pre-screened by Acceptable Face by Holly Summerson.

Thursday 8th June 2023, 7.45pm- Swimming Shorts + Q & A - The first event of Scarborough Film Festival held in collaboration with the SJT. From animation to archive, drama to documentary, this curated selection of films provides an exciting insight into the various ways swimming and our interaction with water has been represented on screen.
Screening followed by Q&A
