MEET THE TEAM
Scarborough Film Festival started as a chance meeting between Liz and Martha, both wanting to change to film scene in the town. Many coffees and beers later it developed into a film festival.... Created from a DIY ethic for change, the festival aims to bring alternative film to the town whilst championing local makers and creators.

Elizabeth is an actor and producer with a keen interest in nurturing and championing early-career filmmakers.
MARTHA CATTELL
Founder & Director
Martha is an artist and freelance film curator with particular interest in artists' moving image and films that explore environmental tensions.
